In the Community

We owe our success to this great country we call home. Following the example of our political subdivision clients, we strive to show our gratitude and further strengthen this nation by giving back to the community as well as to our industry.

The Firm takes great pride in honoring its veterans and their families for the dedication and service they have offered to our Country. As an incubator for some of the most important skills any business professional can acquire, the military has equipped our veterans with the determination, grit, integrity, and teamwork necessary to succeed in public finance. About 7% of Estrada Hinojosa is made up of former military personnel from various branches of the military, including the Army, and the Navy. Veterans compromise about 20% of shareholders and 50% of our Board of Directors.

We routinely give to local charities including the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Boy Scouts of America, the Dallas Foundation, Mi Escuelita Preschool – Dallas, U.S. Food Banks, and many others. Additionally, members of our staff have served on such industry boards as the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas (MAC), Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB), Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), Bond Dealers of America (BDA), FGFOA School of Government Finance, Women In Public Finance (including Florida and Texas Chapters), and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
