Mr. Garza is a Senior Advisor for Estrada Hinojosa in the Dallas Headquarters office. His current duties include business development in the Firm’s Regional Offices, including personnel efforts in Chicago, Denver, Miami, and New York.

He has developed financial expertise in water utilities, public power, airports, toll facilities, convention and sports facilities, resource recovery, renewable energy, and public-private partnerships.

Mr. Garza also brings the advantage of a 45-year banking career, including over 25 years on Wall Street. His experience includes serving as a Director in the Public Finance Department at Citigroup Corporation and Investment Bank; Managing Director at Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. in New York; Senior Vice President at Dillon Read & Co., Inc. in Dallas; Vice President at First Southwest Company in Dallas and San Antonio; Banking Officer at Republic Bank Dallas N.A.; and Vice President at Hidalgo Savings & Loan Association in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Garza is a graduate of the University of Texas–Pan American, earning his B.B.A. He also served on the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas from 2001-2004.

Mr. Garza is fluent in Spanish.
